Pickup From Hotel / Airport / Railway Station in Agra at 6am and leave for a sunrise tour of world famous Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is regarded by many as the best example of Mughal architecture and it’s widely recognized as “the jewel of Muslim art in India”. It is one of the world’s most celebrated structures and a symbol of India’s rich history.

Stop At: Agra Fort Rakabgani, Agra 282003 India
Next you will be transferred to Agra Fort, also a UNESCO Heritage Site, built from red sandstone by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. The buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques and private chambers of the fort echoes the story of the Mughal Empire.

Stop At: Fatehpur Sikri, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh
After Lunch, at 2:30pm continue your tour to Fatehpur Sikri, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is an hour away from Agra. It has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town”. Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years.

After you return to Agra, enjoy some shopping. Agra is known for its fabulous handicraft. It’s major handicraft products beside inlay work are: brass-ware, carpets, jewellery, embroidery and leather accessories and clothes.
