Itinerary
Ajmer is one of the oldest cities in Rajasthan and home to many forts, temples and shrines. The best way to learn all about the local culture and cuisine is through a local. Join in for a fun cooking class and a scrumptious homemade meal experience! Meet your host Deepa at her beautiful home in Housing Board Colony, Ajmer. You will learn to cook simple Indian dishes like Roti (Indian Flatbread), Gatte ki Sabzi (Gram flour dumplings in spicy red gravy) and Kachori/Pakoda (Crispy fried fritters) amongst other dishes. Following the cooking session you can head to the dining area and sit back, relax and enjoy the delicious spread with Deepa and her family.
The entire experience can last for about 2-3 hours.
Note: This is not a professional cooking class, but an opportunity to interact with a local and learn the tips and tricks of Indian cooking.
