Day 1: BANGALORE TO BHADRA SANCTUARY

Pass By: Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, Midst Of Western Ghats, Chikmagalur India
Morning we pickup from the hotel in Bangalore and get driven to Bhadra sanctuary. Arrive and checkin hotel. rest of the day free. Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary is a renowned tiger reserve with 33 tigers inhabiting its periphery. Other than that, the sanctuary is home to gaur, elephant, wild boar, sloth bear, black leopard, jungle cat, jackal, spotted deer, wild dog, sambar, barking deer, common langur, common palm civet, mouse deer, bonnet macaque, porcupine, small Indian civet, slender loris, pangolin, the Malabar giant squirrel and flying squirrel.

The carnivorous species here include leopard cat, ruddy mongoose, rusty-spotted cat, stripe-necked mongoose, and otters. There are also more than 300 avian fauna species over here. Overnight stay at the hotle near Bhadra sanctuary.

Day 2: Bhadra to Bangalore return enroute visiting Hassan

Stop At: Hassan, Hassan, Hassan District, Karnataka
Morning enjoy an safari into the Woods. Later checkout hotel and drive back to Bangalore enroute visiting temples of Hassan. Be amazed to see the architectural genuis of ancient temple building temple makers. BELUR: Belur is known for having some of the most intricate carvings in India. Out of the 92 Hoysala temples in Karnataka, Belur is the best. This temple isn’t just about worship but is about culture. Some parts are more for dancing and the sculptures are of dancers, while on the other side it’s stories from the epics. This temple was built in 1117 A.D. and took three generations to build.
Halebidu Temple: This temple is a little bigger but was destroyed more by foreign invaders. You can see many pieces have also been stolen. There are two Nandi’s here (Shiva’s bull) because it’s a twin temple. These are the 6th and 7th biggest in all of India. Being a Shiva temple, there is a Linga inside.
Arrive bangalore by the evening and get driven to the airport OR the hotel of your choice in Bangalore.
