Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Chennai – Pick up and transfer to the hotel in Chennai.

On Arrival Chennai airport meet and greet our tour representative later he will introduce with your tour driver and transfer to the hotel in Chennai. Overnight stay at the hotel in Chennai.

Day 2: Chennai / Kanchipuram (75km-2.5hrs drive) / Mahabalipuram (68km-2hrs drive)

Stop At: Ekambareswarar Temple, Ekambaranathar Sannidhi Street, Kanchipuram 631502 India
Ekambareswarar Temple in northern Kanchipuram, dedicated to Shiva, is the largest temple in the city. Its gateway tower, or gopuram, is 59 metres (194 ft) tall, making it one the tallest temple towers in India. The temple is one of five called Pancha Bhoota Stalams, which represent the manifestation of the five prime elements of nature; land, water, air, sky, and fire.

The Kamakshi Temple is an ancient Hindu Temple dedicated to Kamakshi, one of the forms of Goddess Parvati. It is located in the historic city of Kanchipuram, near Chennai, India

Later drive to Mahabalipuram. On arrival check in Hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel In Mahabalipuram.

Five Rathas and Shore temple:PanchaRathas (also known as Five Rathas or PandavaRathas) is a monument complex at Mahabalipuram, on the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal, in the Kancheepuram district of the state of Tamil Nadu, India. PanchaRathas is an example of monolithic Indian rock-cut architecture.

Stop At: Arjuna’s Penance, West Raja Street Near Ganesha Ratha, Mahabalipuram 603104 India
Arjuna’s Penance / Rock relief : Rock reliefs of the Descent of the Ganges, Rock reliefs are carved on rocks or on independent boulders. Later return to the hotel overnight stay at hotel in Mahabalipuram.

Later drive to Pondicherry, Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Pondicherry.

Paradise Beach Pondicherry: Located at Chunnambar along the Cuddalore road, Paradise Beach is one of the spectacular Places to visit in Pondicherry. A ferry ride from Chunnambar takes you to this pristine beach that fascinates every traveller with its blue waters, white and golden soft beach sand and tranquil environ.. Pondicherry Museum: Pondicherry Museum has a gallery with sculptures and has the remains of archaeological findings from the Arikamedu Roman settlement. The museum also has a collection of rare bronzes and stone sculptures from the Pallava and Chola dynasties and artifacts excavated from Arikamedu (an ancient port just 7 km from city that had trade links with the Roman empires)..

Promenade Beach: The 1.5 km long promenade running along the beach is the pride of Puducherry. One can relax or take a stroll at any time of the day, though the best time would be early in the mornings and late evenings when the road is closed to vehicular traffic.

Stop At: The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Mahatma Gandhi Road Sacred Heart Square, Pondicherry 605001 India
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus: Known for its elegant gothic architecture, Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is one of the most popular places to visit in Pondicherry. Offering prayers to the Almighty, devotees congregate here at this revered place of worship. It is known for having the glass pictures of 28 saints and many glass panels depict the life of Jesus adding to the interesting sights of this church in Pondicherry. Timings: The mass timings here are 5:30 am, 12:30 pm and 6:00 pm from Monday to Saturday. For Sunday, the mass timings are 5:30 am, 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm

Stop At: Fort St. George, St. George Street, Chennai (Madras) India
After breakfast proceed to sightseeing tour of Chennai visit

Fort St.George:-This fort built by the East India Company in 1653 AD is the oldest British tombstone in the country. Inside the fort is St.Mary’s Church, the oldest Anglican Church east of Suez Canal. Today, the fort houses the Secretariat and the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. The museum inside the fort is the repository of rare exhibits of weapons, uniforms, coins, costumes, medals and some other artifacts dating to the British period.

Stop At: Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Kapaleesvarar Sannadhi Street Vinayaka Nagar Colony, Chennai (Madras) 600004 India
KapiliswaraTemple:-Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple has some beautiful sculptures among which are bronze idols of 63 Shaivite saints adorning the outer courtyards. The temple was damaged in 1566 when the Portuguese took over Mylapore. The present temple was rebuilt by the Vijaynagar kings in 16 th century. The magnificent 37m.high gopuram depicts many a legend with beautiful carvings. During the Aruvathimoovar festival held in March and April, 63 idols are carried in a procession around the temple.

The Parthasarathy Temple is an 8th-century Hindu Vaishnavite temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu, located at Thiruvallikeni, Chennai, India. The temple is glorified in the Divya Prabandha, the early medieval Tamil literature canon of the Alvar saints from the 6th–9th centuries CE and is classified as among the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu. The name ‘Parthasarathy’, in Tamil, means the ‘charioteer of Arjuna’, referring to Krishna’s role as a charioteer to Arjuna in the epic Mahabaratha.
