Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun Arrival And Transfer To Sankri

Stop At: Dehradun, Dehradun, Dehradun District, Uttarakhand
The meeting point for the group today will be Dehradun Railway station. All trekkers are advised to meet us by 6:30 in the
morning. From this point the journey towards Sankri begins. Through the hill towns and by the rivers we will reach Sankri by
the day.
The road towards Sankri transverse through Mussoorie, Nainbagh, Naugaon, Purola, Mori Naitwar, and then Sankri.
Sankri, a small yet beautiful town serves as the heart of this vast valley with small shops, hotels, homestays, a few homes and
clear view of Swargarohini adds a charm to every seeker.

Stop At: Sankri, Sankri, Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand
The Sankari Village in Uttarakhand is a route to The Paradise of the Himalayas for every trekker. It is not just a scenic hamlet situated in Uttarakhand.

Day 2: Sankri to Taluka (1 hr drive / 14 kms); post Taluka to Gangad (5 hrs trek / 8 kms)

Stop At: Mahasu Devta Temple, Tuini-Mori Road India
Today we begin our trek towards Gangad. Morning, after an exercise session all the trekkers will be briefed about the do’s
and don’ts of trekking. Through the trails used by locals for commencing their travel we embark our journey through forests
of pine, cedar and coniferous trees we reach Gangad by the day.
At Gangad, you will visit the Someshwar Devta Temple and wander around Himalayan Wooden architecture and the local
culture. You can also have a conversation with the locals about their lifestyles and the pros and cons of living at such a
secluded place.

Day 3: Gangad to Kalkattiyadhar (6 hrs trek / 11 kms)

Stop At: Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand
Get ready for a journey of 11kms today. The morning we pack our bags again as we start after a quick briefing about today. Pauni
Garaat will be our first rest point of the day, as the name suggests this place is used by villages to grind different crops such as
maize and millets. Proceeding further, between the forests lies a well-hidden gem Osla, the last settlement upon the trail.
This village have its root deep down in mythology with a 2,000 years old temple. Here you can chit chat with the locals. Get
ready for the final ascend, a steep climb of about 30 mins. That will bring you to Kakkattiyadhar. Our campsite for day 03.

Day 4: Kalkattiyadhar to Har Ki Dun to Kalkattiyadhar (9 hrs trek/ 10kms)

Stop At: Har Ki Dun Valley, Himalayashelter Chandrabani Road,majhra Vihar,beside Himalaya Academy, Garhwal 248001 India
The final day is here, today we trek towards Har ki Dun. The trail today is a mix of steep and moderate ascends until you
finally reach the flatlands of Har Ki Dun. This place offers magnificent views of Hata Peak, Swargarohini, Black Peak and few others to look for. Vast meadows
alongside river Supin offer a true delight to the seeker. If time allots and you are capable of, one has also the option to visit
Hata Valley or Marinda Tal. By noon we will depart back to Kalkattiyadhar to camp for the day.

Day 5: Kalkattiyadhar to Gangad (6 hrs trek / 11 kms)

Stop At: Sankri, Sankri, Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand
Morning, through the same old route we embark our descend back towards Gangad, wave a goodbye to the locals of Osla
and the beautiful scenery around. We will reach Gangad at our homestay to halt for the day.
Duration: 15 hours

Accommodation included: Home Stay / Guest House

Day 6: Gangad to Taluka (5 hrs trek / 8 kms)

Stop At: Sankari Range, Uttarakhand, India
Take a deep breath, collect your belongings as we bid a goodbye to Gangad and walk further towards
Taluka. Say a bye with a wide smile on your face to all the beautiful people who come on your way. After a quick briefing
session we start our trek, these moments to relive all this place has to offer for the last time. We reach Taluka by noon. Stay
at Taluka today.

Day 7: Taluka – Dehradun (Drive 8 – 9 hrs/ Distance 188kms)

Stop At: Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India
Morning, after breakfast it’s finally time to bid adieu to the valley of Gods. We will take local jeeps until the point where our
group vehicle awaits for the departure towards Dehradun. We will halt for lunch on the way to reach Dehradun by 6:00p.m. –
7:00 p.m. today. Our journey ends here..
