Itinerary
This dynamic crash course is a full day (lunch outing included) immersed in Hindi and Indian culture designed just for foreigners!
Local teachers give a fun and encouraging learning environment in this one day crash course. You’ll begin the day learning to recognize common Hindi greeting and phrases before jumping into important vocabulary for things like shopping in the bazaar or asking directions. For lunch, we’ll take you out to enjoy local cuisine while giving you the chance to learn more about Indian culture including family life, sports, education, Bollywood and more!
After lunch you’ll practice what you’ve learned through simulations with our staff and other students before heading to the streets for some real world practice as you take the bus and hire a taxi to prove your skills!
This course is focused everyday situations that arise as a foreigner in India including:
-Greetings and introductions
-Taking a taxi, bus, or rickshaw
-Asking prices and making purchases
-Asking directions
-Enjoying chai with friends
