Day 1: Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park (200kms/ 4hrs approx)

Pass By: Kaziranga National Park, Kaziranga National Park, Golaghat District, Assam
On arrival at Guwahati or Johrat airport assistance and transfer to hotel in Kaziranga National Park check in. Rest time free and easy to relax. Dinner & overnight at resort.

Day 2: Kaziranga National Park

Stop At: Kaziranga National Park, Kaziranga National Park, Golaghat District, Assam
Early morning explore central Range of Kaziranga National Park on jeep Safari. On return explore the eastern range on a jeep safari. Return for lunch and proceed to Western Range of Kaziranga National Park on jeep. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight in resort.

Kaziranga National Park; A World Heritage Site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world’s Great One-horned Rhinoceroses. Kaziranga boasts the highest density of tigers among protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer. Kaziranga is recognized as an Important Bird Area by Birdlife International for conservation of avifaunal species. Compared to other protected areas in India, Kaziranga has achieved notable success in wildlife conservation. Located on the edge of the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot, the park combines high species diversity and visibility.

Kaziranga is a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broad-leaf forests, crisscrossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and the park includes numerous small bodies of water. Kaziranga has been the theme of several books, songs, and documentaries. The park celebrated its centennial in 2005 after its establishment in 1905 as a reserve forest.

Note: This is for your information that jeep safari and forest entry are regulated and controlled by the forest dept. Govt. of Assam. We do not have any control for booking of safari seats and entry by jeeps.

Day 3: Kaziranga – Guwahati (200kms/ 4hrs approx)

Stop At: Kaziranga National Park, Kaziranga National Park, Golaghat District, Assam
Early morning jungle safari in the national park for wildlife viewing. Return back to resort for breakfast. After breakfast jeep safari (either central or western range). Return to lodge for lunch.
Duration: 3 hours

Pass By: Guwahati, Guwahati, Kamrup Metropolitan District, Assam
Afternoon drive to Guwahati check in at resort. Evening enjoy a magnificent sunset over the majestic Brahmaputra River on a cruise.

Day 4: Guwahati – Departure

Stop At: Guwahati, Guwahati, Kamrup Metropolitan District, Assam
Breakfast at hotel, visit Kamakhya Temple – one of the most venerated Shakti shrines in India, and is regarded as one of the Shakti Peethams associated with the legend of Shiva and Daksha Yagna. Navagraha Temple – is dedicated to the nine planets in the solar system is a center of astrological and astronomical research. Umananda Island – the smallest river island in the world, here man and the wilderness co-habit in peace and serenity. Umananda Temple is a Shiva Temple built in 1594, by the Ahom King of Assam.

Later transfer to Guwahati airport to board flight onward destination.
