Haridwar Trip Overview
Nestled among the serene heights of the great Himalayas are four pilgrimdestinations namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, collectively known as Char Dham. These pilgrimage centers draw the maximum numbers of pilgrims each year, thus becoming the most important hubs of religious travel in the whole of Northern India.
Traditionally, the pilgrimage begins from the West and ends in the East. Thus, the Char Dham Yatra commences from Yamunotri, then proceeding to Gangotri and finally to Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Each of these four sites is devoted to a specific deity. Yamunotri is dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna who goes along the pilgrims to the high altitudes of the picturesque Rawai Valley. It is believed that a bath in the waters of the Yamuna protects the devotee from untimely death.

Day 1: HARIDWAR – BARKOT/SYANACHATTI (180KMS/6HRS)
Stop At: Barkot, Barkot, Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand
Today you will be driven to Barkot/Syanachatti. Reach & check in at hotel. Relax at hotel. Barkot is a place of great scenic beauty with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains all around. A magnificent view of the eternal snow peaks of Bandar Punch can be seen from here. Overnight stay at Barkot/Syanachatti.

Day 2: BARKOT/SYANACHATTI -YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT/ SYANACHATTI (38KMS/2HRS, 6 KMS 3 HRS TREK ONE SIDE)
Stop At: Yamunotri, Yamunotri, Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand
Early morning proceed to Jankichatti . From here the trek begins(6Km/3Hrs one side trek) to visit the temple of Goddess Yamuna Shri Yamunotri, situated on the bank of the river. You can hire Pony/Palanquin (palki) at your own cost (payment can be made directly). You can take a holy dip in the Taptkund (hot springs). Visit Shri Yamunotri temple Pooja & Darshan. Later return to Barkot/Syanachatti. An overnight stay.

Day 3: DAY 03: BARKOT/SYANACHATTI – UTTARKASHI (100-KMS, 4-5 HRS)
Stop At: Uttarkashi, Uttarkashi, Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand
This Morning proceed to Uttarkhashi. En route visit to Kashi Vishvanath Temple. Arrive at hotel at Uttarkashi. An overnight stay.

Day 4: DAY 04: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI (100- KMS/3HRS ONE SIDE DRIVE)
Stop At: Gangotri, Gangotri, Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand
Early Morning, proceed to Gangotri (100-Kms/4-Hrs). On arrival take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform pooja and relax in the lovely surrounding. Return to hotel. An overnight at Uttarkashi.

Day 5: DAY 05: UTTARKASHI – PHATA/SONPRAYAG (208 KM /08 HRS)
Stop At: Phata, Phata, Rudraprayag District, Uttarakhand
After breakfast, proceed to Phata/Sonprayag. Reach & check in at hotel. An overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 6: PHATA/SONPRAYAG TO KEDARNATH (17 kms drive) BY TREK (19kms Trek one way)
Pass By: Kedarnath, Kedarnath, Rudraprayag District, Uttarakhand
The morning after breakfast drive to Gaurikund (By local Taxi at your own cost), start your trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (by Pony / Doli / Helicopter at your own cost). Visit Kedarnath Temple. Overnight stay at Kedarnath

Day 7: KEDARNATH- PHATA/SONPRAYAG- PIPALKOTI (19kms Trek one way + 135 KMS /3HRS)
Stop At: Pipalkoti, Pipalkoti, Chamoli District, Uttarakhand
Early Morning start your trek from Kedarnath to Gaurikund (by Pony / Doli / Helicopter at your own cost). After reaching Gaurikund drive to Phata/Sonprayag (By local Taxi at your own cost). After reaching Phata /Sonprayag drive to Pipalkoti. On arrival in check in to your hotel. Stay overnight at Pipalkoti

Day 8: PIPALKOTI – BADRINATH – PIPALKOTI (78 -KMS/ 3-HRS – ONE SIDE)

Early morning, we proceed to Badrinath. After Darshan drive back to Pipalkoti. Overnights stay at Pipalkoti.
