The three-centuries-old tradition of block printing is kept alive with the efforts of local artisans. Handblock prints are more famous for their exceptional quality of being eco-friendly.
The workshop will take place amidst the fields where natural indigo is grown & cultivated to be used in colouring.

Itinerary
Reach the meeting point by 7 in morning. Then you will be driven in car to the workshop which is setup amidst farms of natural indigo in a village. On reaching, you will be introduced to art by internationally renowned artisan; a national award winner and the one who has invested his life to preserve this art.
As fascinating as it looks and sound, then you will be exposed to an opportunity to try your own hands on this eccentric art. Make your own hand block textile masterpiece using the uniquely carved blocks from a pool of choices under their perfect guidance. This workshop is sure going to awaken the artist in you. Immerse yourself completely to learn the age-old art. And guess what? You can take the material you made along with you as a souvenir.
