Itinerary

Day 1: Jammu – Patnitop (120kms/ 3hrs approx)

Stop At: Patnitop, Patnitop, Udhampur District, Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir
On arrival at Jammu airport meet with your driver and proceed to Patnitop, a beautiful hill resort located on a scenic plateau of the Shiwalik range of the Himalayas, boasting green meadows and panoramic views of the glittering snow-capped peaks. On arrival check in at hotel.

The hill station offers a number of treks, few temples, monuments, and a garden to keep a holiday simple and comfortable. A short trek from Patnitop takes one to panoramic hill station of Nathatop, one of the most popular tourist destinations to experience serenity and many adventure activities like paragliding and skiing. Another 5 km trek from Patnitop will take you to Madhatop, known for its skiing and other adventure activities. It has 3 fresh water springs and is an ideal place for adventurers as well as nature lovers. Lying at an altitude of 3500 meters and surrounded by the majestic Himalayas, ‘Shiva Ghar’ is another very popular tourist destination near Patnitop.

Day 2: Patnitop – Pahalgam (180kms/ 4-5hrs approx)

Stop At: Pahalgam, Pahalgam, Anantnag District, Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Pahalgam the Valley of Shepherds 7,000ft above sea level. Pahalgam situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, was once a humble shepherd’s village with breathtaking views. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine. Hajan on the way to Chandanwari is an idyllic spot. There is a Shiva temple considered to be Kashmir’s oldest existing temple, dating to the 5th century.

Day 3: Pahalgam

Stop At: Pahalgam, Pahalgam, Anantnag District, Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir
Breakfast at hotel, visit Aru valley noted for its scenic meadows. The village is a base camp for trekkers to the Kolahoi Glacier, the Tarsar-Marsar lakes and the Katrinag valley. It is also a base for the treks to Lidderwat, the Vishansar-Kishansar lakes and Kangan. The Kolahoi is the largest glacier in the Kashmir Valley, and is located near Mt. Kolahoi (5425m), the highest peak in the Valley. There are about 20 alpine lakes, peaks and meadows around the Aru Valley. Other popular activities include fishing of trout in the Lidder River, trekking, hiking, horse riding, sightseeing and photography.

Day 4: Pahalgam – Gulmarg (142kms/ 3hrs approx)

Stop At: Gulmarg, Gulmarg, Baramulla District, Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Gulmarg (the meadow of the flowers) located at the altitude of 9,000ft. On the way visit the famous Saffron growing fields and Awantipur Ruins (1100 years old temple of lord Vishnu build by King Awantivarman), enjoy the beautiful countryside on the way. On arrival check-in at hotel.

Day 5: Gulmarg – Srinagar (56kms/ 2hrs approx)

Stop At: Gulmarg, Gulmarg, Baramulla District, Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir
Breakfast at hotel, city tour of Gulmarg. Today Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 2,650m, and is the country’s premier ski resort in the winter. Enjoy a cable car ride on Gondola which will take you to the Majestic height of 13,000ft above sea level covering the magnificent views of Himalayan Mountains and Pirpanjal ranges. You can also enjoy a view of Nanga Parbat if the weather permits. Golf playing, Horse Riding, Hiking & Snow Skiing are other activities available here at additional cost.

After sightseeing drive to Srinagar check in at hotel/ houseboat.

Day 6: Srinagar

Stop At: Srinagar, Srinagar, Srinagar District, Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir
Breakfast at hotel, full day city tour of Srinagar. Visit Mughal Gardens Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh & Chashma Shahi. Then excursion to Hari Parbat a hill overlooking Srinagar the site of a fort, built in the Durrani era, a Hindu temple, mosques, and gurdwara. Later visit Shankaracharya Temple the sacred temple occupies the top of the hills known as Takht-I-Sulaiman in the south-east of Srinagar. The site dates back to 250BC. Rest time to explore the market. Evening Shikara ride on the Dal Lake, visiting floating vegetable gardens.

Day 7: Srinagar – Delhi (flight)

Pass By: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule transfer to Kangra airport to board flight for Delhi.
Vehicle will be provided in Delhi for transit use and going to any place of your interest before connecting flight to onward destination.
