DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 01:- Pickup will be provided from Jodhpur Hotel/Airport/railway station.
We reach Osian desert in an hour.
A great trading centre on the silk route from the 8th to 12th century AD. Osian Desert boasts of a number of intricately carved Hindu and Jain temples dating back to the 6th century. Noteworthy for their carvings and architectural grandeur, the Majestic Sachiya Mata temple and the Surya temple are a highlight here.This ancient village is the gateway into the punishing thar desert and is noteworthy for it’s mesmerizing 6th / 8th century temples, sand-dunes and diversity of Rajasthani culture and tradition. Besides the comfortable camel safari one also gets to see proud local tribes— Bishnois, Bhils, shepherds, potters, weavers etc. In their natural surroundings. And not to mention the various varieties of desert wildlife-the likes of Bluebulls, Gazelles, Foxes, Peacocks, Partridges etc.
Overnight stay in the Deluxe tents/camps in the wilderness of “Osian” desert.
