You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning for the 45-minute drive to Rakh village. Take in the scenic beauty of the surrounding Dhauladhar mountains as you drive past pine, cedar and rhododendron forests.

Rakh village is about 15 miles from Dharamshala but remains untouched by commercial influence. Once there, start your walking tour with a visit to Manimahesh Temple. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva.

Next walk over the slopes and take a look at the village homes set in the picturesque valley. Meet the locals and get acquainted with their day to day life. Visit the village flour mill that runs on water power. You will even get to visit a local family and share a cup of tea with them.

After spending a few hours in the village, walk back to Rakkh Bridge from where you will be driven back to your hotel in Dharamshala.
