This is a beginner’s stretch with minor rapids but the surreality of rafting through the gorges make it an experience of a lifetime. The water is freezing cold, so you will be provided with wet suits. A jump in the river and floating/swimming alongside the raft is thrilling, and a refreshing break from the sharp sun. The whole trip including the ‘to and fro’ transfers plus lunch lasts about 6 hours so it will be a full days activity.

We camp close to the shore, relax and take in the changing colours as the sun sets. The night skies are surreal as we are camping at 4300 M with clear views of the milky way and several constellations. We will be staying in swiss cottage tents with attached bathrooms.
