10:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Your first stop in Trichy will be at Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, one of the most iconic and important temples in South India. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is spread over a vast area of 156 acres. As you enter the temple, you’ll be greeted by the towering gopurams, intricately carved pillars, and colorful sculptures. The temple has 22 gopurams, each with its own unique design and history. The main gopuram, also known as the Rajagopuram, is the tallest in India, standing at a height of 72 meters with 13 storeys. 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: After the temple visit, you’ll head to Rock Fort Temple, which is located on a 83-meter-high rock formation. The rock is one of the oldest in the world and is estimated to be around 3.8 billion years old, making it older than the Himalayas.
