Haji Ali Dargah of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari is a beautiful floating Mosque, also known as the most recognizable landmarks of Mumbai. Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari was a Sufi Saint and a wealthy merchant from Uzbekistan who gave up all his worldly possessions before making a pilgrimage to Mecca and settled in then Bombay and until his death, he kept spreading knowledge about Islam.
Before his death, he advised his followers to not bury him in a graveyard and should drop his shroud (‘kaftan’) in the ocean. The Dargah Sharif was built in 1431 in his memory by his followers at the same place.

Mani Bhawan is a historical building that was a house to Mahatma Gandhi from 1917 to 1934. Gandhi initiated the Non-Cooperation, Satyagraha, Swadeshi, Khadi and Khilafat Movements. The building was taken over by the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi in 1955 to maintain it as a memorial to Gandhi.
