Day 1: Mumbai to Sula Vineyards at Nasik, 3 hours drive Approx & Overnight at Nashik

Stop At: Sula Vineyards, Govardhan Village Gat 36/2 Gangapur-Savargaon Road, Nashik 422222 India
located approximately 200 kms from Mumbai, Sula Vineyards is a perfect getaway from the maddening Mumbai rush. Acres of land with wine grape plants, a wine factory and wine tasting. If you leave by 8 am, you reach there by 11.30 am, can spend the day around wine tour, wine tasting, at their rooftop restaurant as well as restaurants Little Italy and Soma which is adjacent to the main building. It also houses an amphitheater and landscape gardening which can become an alternate picnic spot if you are not interested to drink wine.
Later Move towards “Nashik”, just 18 kilometers away. Overnight stay at the hotel in Nashik.

Day 2: Nashik temple tour & return to Mumbai

Stop At: Ramkund, Nashik India
After breakfast at the hotel, time to explore the ancient temple city of “Nashik”. Once we reach old city quarters, first we visit Ramkund on the banks of holy river Godavari. Witness local culture unfolding around the banks of the river, people taking a holy dip in the sacred waters getting rid of their sins.

Stop At: Kalaram Temple Road, Nashik 422003 India
Next in our list is The Kalaram temple, an old holy shrine dedicated to lord Ram. It is highly revered by the locals and was built around 1788.

Stop At: Pandav Leni, Pandav Lene Rd, Nashik 422010 India
This is an ancient hilltop Buddhist Cave complex famous for its magnificent architecture and Buddhist art inside the caves. However this cave involves climbing up of 250 stone steps, depending upon your time and energy only we shall visit OR skip it and simply drive back to Mumbai.
