The road head of Sankri (where the trek starts is a beautiful drive through the hill towns of Mussoorie, Purola, Mori, and Natwar most of them which lie on the banks of Tons river.
The total trek distance is 20kms which involves beautiful and lush forests and vast meadows. The trek offers everything from lakes (frozen in winters) to lush flora and fauna, snowcapped peaks and much more. The trek is beautifully done all year round apart from monsoons.
