Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

Stop At: Red Fort, Netaji Subhash Marg, New Delhi 110002 India
When the capital shifted from Agra to Delhi, Shah Jahan constructed Red Fort in 1939 it was the main residence of the Mughal Dynasty and is located in the city center. It is made from red sandstone and that is where it gets its name from. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007.

Stop At: Qutub Minar, Qutb Minar, Mehrauli, New Delhi 110030 India
Qutub Minar is a five-story tapering tower with a height of 73 meters. The spiral staircase in this minaret has 379 staircases. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and visited by many every day.

Stop At: India Gate, Rajpath Near Connaught Place New Delhi, New Delhi 110001 India
India Gate India Gate is a war memorial located near the Rajpath. It is dedicated to the soldiers of British India who died in the wars. The India Gate, even though a war memorial, evokes the architectural style.

Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India
One of the largest mosques in the country, Jama Masjid is made up of red sandstone and marble. It was constructed by Shah Jahan and is visited by hundreds of people every day. The courtyard of the mosque can accommodate about 25,000 people and was built for about one million Indian Rupees.

Cycle Rickshaw ride in Chandni chowk & Khari Baoli Spice Market, a busy shopping area with markets full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry and vivid saris, while the narrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery and traditional Indian sweets.

Stop At: Fatehpur Sikri, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh
Fatehpur Sikri is a small city in northern India, just west of Agra, founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles.

Chand Baori was built during the 8th and 9th centuries and has 3,500 narrow steps arranged in perfect symmetry, which descend 20m to the bottom of the well.

Stop At: Hawa Mahal – Palace of Wind, Hawa Mahal Tripolia Bazaar Road Badi Choupad, J.D.A. Market, Pink City, Jaipur 302002 India
Hawa Mahal also known as The Palace of Winds is made with the red and pink sandstones which makes it distinguished from the surroundings. The palace is a five-storey pyramidal shaped monument and was built by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. After the visit to Hawa Mahal, return to your hotel.

A shopper’s paradise and a must-visit, Johari Bazaar in Jaipur has a reputation that precedes itself. It is considered to be one of the oldest markets of Jaipur City.

Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing

Jantar Mantar is a UNESCO World Heritage site built in 1734. It is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. The instruments allow the observation of astronomical positions with the naked eye.

Spend one hour to explore Maharaja’s City Palace. City Palace of Jaipur was originally the administrative and ceremonial seat of Maharaja of Jaipur which was constructed in 1721. It was also the location of religious and cultural events that took place at that time. It now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, and continues to be the home of the Jaipur royal family.

The vibrant beaches, rocking nightlife, beautiful churches, authentic seafood, beach-side forts and the bustling bazaars in Goa is something that is definitely worth exploring! Day 7: Goa Sightseeing

Stop At: Basilica of Bom Jesus, Old Goa Road, Goa Velha 403402 India
After breakfast, the Goa sightseeing tour begins with a visit to the Basilica of Bom Jesus dedicated to “Bom Jesus” meaning “infant Jesus”. This is an almost 400-year-old UNESCO site that stands unique from other churches with its un-plastered exterior. Built-in the year 1594, it is one of the magnificent examples of Baroque architecture.

Next, visit the Se Cathedral Church dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria. It is a beautiful edifice graced with superb Iberian façades, intricate mosaic work, and carvings. It is renowned for its biggest Church Bell in Goa. Close to Se Cathedral is the Museum of Christian Art that carries a good collection of priest robes, archaics, wine cups (chalices), gorgeous paintings and statues.

Later, head to the Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception that has the 2nd largest church bell in Goa after Se Cathedral. This church, built-in 1541, is dedicated to Mary Immaculate. Visit the Aguada Fort. Here you can witness the confluence of the Mandovi River and the Arabian Sea. This 17th-century Portuguese-styled fort is named after a fresh water spring that supplied water to the Aguada Fort – wherein “Agua” is a Portuguese word that means water and “Aguada” means where the water gets collected. After that drive past Sinquerim Beach, Candolim Beach and Calangute Beach. Visit the Church of Mae de Deus in Saligao, Goa. This pristine white-painted Church built-in 1873 is one of the finest examples of the Neo-Gothic style of architecture. It is a stunningly distinctive church dedicated to Nossa Senhora Mai de Deus (Mother of God). Drive past Baga and Anjuna beach. Visit the Vagator Beach and close to it, is the 17th-century Chapora Fort overlooking the Chapora River. It is known for its mesmerizing sunset views in the evening.
