Day 2: Old Delhi City Tour with Delhi Metro and Rickshaw Ride

Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India

Chandni Chowk:- The Chandni Chowk (Moonlight Square) is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi, India. Chandni Chowk is located close to Old Delhi Railway Station. The Red Fort monument is located within the market. It was built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor of India Shah Jahan and designed by his daughter Jahanara. The market was once divided by canals (now closed) to reflect moonlight and remains one of India’s largest wholesale markets.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra

Today after breakfast at Delhi hotel, proceed to Agra it is approximately 4.5 hours drive to reach Agra. After check-in to the hotel in Agra start guided tour and visit to:-

Agra Fort:-You would regret if you miss Agra Fort during your visit to Agra. The 16th-century monument is yet another proof of the architectural brilliance of Mughals. This is situated near the gardens of the world-famous TajMahal, The fortress comprises many palaces namely, Jahangir Palace, KhasMahal and so on. It was in Agra Fort Shah Jahan was held prisoner by Aurangazeb, his son. Shah Jahan, the emperor, spent his last days here viewing the monument of love he had built for his wife.

Day 4: Agra – Jaipur

Stop At: Chand Baori (Step well), Jaipur-Agra Road, Abhaneri 303313 India
Today after breakfast leave Agra and drive to Jaipur. One the way we can not forget to visit:

Chand Baori is said to be named after a local ruler called Raja Chanda. The oldest parts of the step-well date from the 8th century onwards, but the upper stories were built around the 18th century during the Mughal era. It does consists of 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories. It extends approximately 30 m (100 ft) into the ground, making it one of the deepest and largest step wells in India. It is situated at a distance of 95 km from Jaipur, on the Jaipur-Agra road.

Day 5: Jaipur City tour

HawaMahal:-built in 1799, by Maharaja SawaiPratap Singh, is the most recognizable monument of Jaipur. The 5 storied stunning semi-octagonal monument having 152 windows with over hanging latticed balconies is a fine piece of Rajput architecture. Originally designed for the royal ladies to watch and enjoy the processions and other activities, on the street below. Later start continued next place is Amer Fort.

Amer Fort:-The old capital of the Kachhwahas stands atop a range of craggy hills. The fort is remarkable as much for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements and beautiful palaces. It is a fine blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. The solemn dignity of its red sandstone and white marble pavilions, when reflected in the lake at the foothill, is a sight to behold. The original palace was built by Raja Man Singh, the additional extensions were built by Maharaja Mirja Raja Jai Singh and Sawai Jai Singh lIthe last Maharaja of Amer, who built a new city called Jaipur, where he shifted his capital in 1727. The palace complex is lavishly ornamented and displays the riches of Amer. Sheesh, Mahal chamber of Mirrors. Diwan-e-Am or the Hall of Public Audience is a beautifully proportioned hall open on three sides and stands on two rows of ornamented pillars. Diwan e-Khas or the Hall of Private Audience has delicate mosaic work in glass. Sukh mandir is guarded by sandalwood doors inlaid with ivory.
Later return to down town for the next place in Jaipur.

Stop At: Jal Mahal, Amer Road, Jaipur 302002 India
JalMahal:-On the way to Amer, this small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Renovation around the lake is in progress. You can get a chance to stop here to take photographs for this beautiful palace. Later take a lunch break then start for the next place.

Stop At: City Palace of Jaipur, Tripolia Bazar Near Jantar Mantar, Jaipur 3023002 India
City Palace:-situated in the heart of the old city, it occupies about one-seventh of the old city area. The palace is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, it houses a Seven storeyed Chandra Mahal in the centre, which affords a fine view of the gardens and the city. Diwan-E-Am (Hall of public audience) has intricate decorations and collection of manuscripts, Diwan-E-Khas (Hall of private audience) has a marble pawed gallery Mubarak Mahal has a rich collection of costumes and textiles. There is a Clock Tower near Mubarak Mahal. SilehKhana has a collection of armory and weapons.

Stop At: Jantar Mantar – Jaipur, Tripoliya Bazaar near entrance to City Palace, Jaipur 302020 India
Jantar-Mantar (Observatory site):-built in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the huge masonry instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky. Enormous sun-dial still provides accurate time, which is subject to daily corrections.

It has a rare collection of archaeological and handicraft pieces. Here you will be stopping to get a chance to take photographs its a drive pass visit. Jaswant Thada:- It was built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh, the Second in the year 1899. This is close to Mehrangarh Fort. The tranquility of the marble construction is enchanting. The carvings are intricate. Inside Jaswant Thada, you will find the portraits of the Rathore rulers. The grounds of Jaswant Thada consist of a stunning multilevel garden, intricately carved.

Stop At: Mehrangarh Fort, Fort Rd., Jodhpur 342006 India
Mehrangarh Fort:-It is one among the largest Indian forts. This invincible fort stands magnificently 400 feet above the city. Rao Jodha constructed the fort in 1459 AD. Though the attempt to construct the fort was started in 1459, the fort had seen many centuries before it was completed. Hence, you could find that the style of architecture represents various periods. The grandeur in architecture is awe-inspiring. It offers stunning views of the city. The fort stands as a symbol of power.

Stop At: Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, Circuit House Road, Jodhpur 342006 India
Umaid Bhawan Palace:-Construction of Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum was started in the year 1929 and it was completed in 1943. The palace is situated on the highest point in the city. The 347-roomed massive palace is named one of the largest private residences in the world. The palace boasts of a combination of Indian and European style of architecture. A part of the palace still serves as a residence to the former royal family, while other two parts of the palace are converted into Taj Palace Hotel and museum.

Mandore Gardens:-Mandore, belonging to the 6th century, was Marwar’s capital before Jodhpur was established. Mandore Gardens here attract tourists in great numbers. The architectural splendor of the bygone era is clearly evident here.

Today after breakfast in Jodhpur hotel proceed to Pushkar. Upon arrival in Pushkar take rest and evening before sunset time visit to the Pushkar Lake to enjoy the sunset point.

Pushkar Lake is considered to be one of the holiest lakes in India. This is because the Pushkar Sarovar (Lake) along with the Man Sarovar, Bindu Sarovar, Narayan Sarovar, and Pampa Sarovar together constitute the ‘Panch Sarovar’ or five sacred lakes of Hindu mythology. There is no better place to watch the sunset in Pushkar than at Folla Sui Ghat, in front of Sunset Cafe.

Brahma Temple:-The Brahma Temple is the lone Hindu temple in India where Lord Brahma, the Creator of the World is worshipped. This major attraction of Pushkar is situated on the banks of the Pushkar Lake and is considered to have a special position in the Hindu Pantheons. Built-in the 14th century, the temple comprises a raised platform, red spire, stone slabs, marble floors and an image of ‘hans’ or swan, Lord Brahma’s vehicle. A life-size four-armed idol of Lord Brahma and a silver carved turtle is situated inside the temple.

Later you free to explore the:-

Pushkar Market:-The Pushkar Bazaar offers a variety of items, especially during the annual Pushkar Fair. The items available here are Rajasthani costumes and puppets, embroidered fabrics, souvenirs, bangles and beads, decorative pieces and accessories, curios, embroidered shoes, brass utensils, glass lamps, bags, belts, and many more handicraft items. Majority of the traditional items are brought to the Pushkar Bazaar from Barmer District and other tribal areas of Rajasthan.
Later return to the hotel, take rest till 5 pm at the hotel.

The temple is dedicated to Goddess Laxmi and her consort Narayana. The temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on the stipulation that people of all castes shall be allowed to enter the temple.
