Day 1: Delhi to Rishikesh (261 Kms/ 6 Hrs approx.)

Stop At: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Morning meet with our driver at your home / hotel / airport / railway station and proceed to Rishikesh.
Duration: 6 hours

Stop At: Lakshman Jhula Bridge, Rishikesh 249137 India
Our guide will meet you at the hotel and will proceed with you to Lakshman Jhula bridge. The guide will give full description on the mythological importance of this bridge by walk and also you will see some beautiful famous Ashrams and temples like 13 storey temple, 1 storey temple, 17 storey temples, Saccha Akhileshwar Mahadev Temple and Laxman Temple along with this there will be a tourist market like an Italian’s street market of handicrafts, precious and semi-precious stones, gems, clothes, Nehru jackets, Kurtas, Sarees and Ayurvedic medicines etc.

Proceed by walk with guide to Ram Jhula from parking. Ram Jhula is a famous landmark place in Rishikesh city. It is an iron suspension bridge over holy river Ganga.Ram Jhula also offers a panoramic view of river Ganga and Rishikesh city having number of temples.

Stop At: Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Geeta Bhavan Rd Number 3 Ram Jhula, Rishikesh 249201 India
Guided walking tour of Parmath Nikeran Ashram followed by Ganga Arti ceremony. Its president is Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji Maharaj. Ganga Aarti performed here every evening is worth watching and calms down ones senses and mind. There is also a Gurukul (a school) run by ashram for teaching Yoga, Meditation and other Hindu sacred ceremonies. ‘International Yoga Festival’ is organized by ashram every year in the month of February, in which people from all over the world participate.

Day 2: Rishikesh / Haridwar / Delhi (261 Kms / 06 hrs approx.)

Stop At: Har ki Pauri, Upper Road, Haridwar 249401 India
After breakfast at hotel and proceed to Haridwar for guided visit of Har ki Pauri, Sacred ghat of Haridwar by walk from Parking. – Har Ki Pauri is the one of the most sacred Ghats in Haridwar and the only place where all the spiritual activities takes place. The ghat is reckoned to have been built by King Vikramaditya in memory of his brother Brithari in the 1st century BC. Literal meaning of the term ‘Har Ki Pauri’- “Har” means “Lord Shiva”, Ki” means “of” and “Pauri” means “steps”. Priest of the nearby temples says that during the Vedic times, Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu believed to have visited Brahmakund in Har Ki Pauri. The Ghat got its name from the foot imprint of the Lord Vishnu, the imprints of the same are present on one of the stones of the Ghat. It is one of the four incredible sites in India that hosts the Kumbh Mela, during which millions bathe in the Ganga River.

Guided walking tour of famous local market. Streets is famous for precious and semi-precious stones, gems, clothes, Nehru jackets, Kurtas, Sarees and Ayurvedic medicines etc.
