This is a tomb of Mughal Emperor Humayun and it was built by his son and one the most powerful Mughal Emperor “Akbar”.It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993, and was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent.

Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India
The largest mosque in India, built by the 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1656 with its courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees.
