Day 1: UNTOLD STORIES OF TAJ MAHAL

An elegant poet described Taj Mahal as the teardrop on the cheek of eternity. Taj Mahal is a world wonder located in Agra. To immortalize his love for his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the most amazing mausoleum of all times.
The main expression of this building is pure love. This structure now stands as the bible for love
This art form of using semi-precious stones to decorate mosaic works is called as Parchin Kari.

The grand taj mahal monument is more than 350 years old. The Taj Mahal was built in the 17th century by shah jahan-the fifth mughal emperor of India. Taj Mahal is a memento of love. Even after such a long period the fragrance of love in Taj Mahal is as it is. It is like a gem in the crown of the mughal architecture. Mumtaz Mahal was her husband’s best companion, she used to company him in war campaigns, and during one such campaign in Burhanpur she died during childbirth. The dead queen was brought to Agra and buried on the bank of river Yamuna.

The area is also renowned for its street food, with stalls selling chaat snacks and Agra-specialty petha sweets. No-frills eateries offering simple Indian fare are scattered throughout the area.

Day 2: DISCOVERY OF ITMAD-UD-DAULA ( BABY TAJ )

Stop At: Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, Yamuna River, Agra 282001 India
Itmad-ud-Daulah was built between 1622-28 AD during the time of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. This is the tomb of Mirza Ga’ash Bagh and his wife Asmat Begum. Mirza Gaya Bagh was a resident of Iran and served in the crevasses of Badshah Akbar
