Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Arrive Delhi in the evening/night, our representative will meet and greet you at the airport and you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.

Delhi stands on seven successive cities and is one of the oldest cities in the world. This history helps one appreciate the scale of the sprawling metropolis. Day 2: Delhi – Agra (210 Kms)

Stop At: India Gate, Rajpath Near Connaught Place New Delhi, New Delhi 110001 India
The India Gate is a war memorial located astride the Rajpath, on the eastern edge of the “ceremonial axis” of New Delhi, India, formerly called Kingsway.
India Gate is one of many British monuments built by order of the Imperial War Graves Commission (later renamed Commonwealth War Graves Commission). The architect was Sir Edwin Lutyens, an Englishman who designed numerous other war memorials and was also the principal planner of New Delhi. The cornerstone was laid in 1921 by the duke of Connaught, third son of Queen Victoria. Construction of the All-India War Memorial, as it was originally known, continued until 1931, the year of the formal dedication of New Delhi as the capital of India.

Humayun’s tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was

commissioned by Humayun’s first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1569-70, and

designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad, Persian architects chosen by

her.

The Qutub Minar, also spelled as Qutb Minar, is a minaret that forms part of the Qutb complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of Delhi, India. Qutb Minar is a 73-metre tall tapering tower of five storeys, with a 14.3 metres base diameter, reducing to 2.7 metres at the top of the peak.The height of Qutub Minar is 239.5 feet or 72.5 meters and the base diameter is 47 feet / 14.3 meters and the diameter reduces to 2.7 meters on top.

The Parliament House of India is located in the northwestern side of the& Vijay Chowk in the vicinity of the secretariat buildings. The parliament house marks governance of the world’s largest democracy.

The parliament house was planned at the introductory stage to be a part of the Rashtrapati Bhawan . But in 1919 according to the Montague-Chelmsford reforms it was announced to be designed as the Indian parliament. The foundation stone was laid by the Duke of Connaught in 1921 and the building was inaugurated in 1927 by Lord and Lady Irwin. Previously known as the circular house, the building has been designed by Herbert Baker.

Day 3: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur

Stop At: Taj Mahal, Dharmapuri, Forest Colony, Tajganj, Agra 282001 India
The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan, the builder.

Fatehpur Sikri is a small city in northern India, just west of Agra, founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site.

Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing

Stop At: Amber Palace, Devisinghpura, Amer, Jaipur 302001 India
You may drive straight towards the famous Amber Fort of Jaipur from the midway. Amber Fort is located on the hills exterior of the Jaipur town. It is locally known as

‘Amer Fort’ and was built by Raja Man Singh in 1592 A.D. There is also a famous temple of Goddess within the Amber Fort.

Jal Mahal is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. The palace and the lake around it were

renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber.

Stop At: Hawa Mahal – Palace of Wind, Hawa Mahal Tripolia Bazaar Road Badi Choupad, J.D.A. Market, Pink City, Jaipur 302002 India
It is time to explore the impressive beauty of the Hawa Mahal. This structure constitutes as a major historical monument of India and holds impressive uniqueness.

Stop At: City Palace of Jaipur, Tripolia Bazar Near Jantar Mantar, Jaipur 3023002 India
Encompassed by crenelated walls, this is the previous royal residence with an imposing blend of Mughal and Rajasthan Architecture. it is inclusive of some divine halls and palaces such as the Chandra Mahal, Shri Gobind Dev Ji Temple, and the marvelous Jai Niwas Garden.

Stop At: Jantar Mantar – Jaipur, Tripoliya Bazaar near entrance to City Palace, Jaipur 302020 India
The Jaipur’s Jantar Mantar is the world’s largest stone sundial. This observatory was built by the Emperor Sawai Jai Singh and is the best preserved as compared to other similar observatories built in different regions of India.

Day 5: Jaipur – Delhi

Stop At: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Today drive back to Delhi (depends on your departure flight) or first half of the day is free to explore the Pink City with the car at your disposal. Jaipur is world famous for real stone jewelry and handicrafts.

Later transfer to Jaipur airport accordingly or drive back to Delhi. Stop on the way for refreshment. Drive further to reach Delhi and directly proceed to IGI Airport to board your return flight. Your tour comes to end but its sweet memories and vivid colors of India will remain forever.
