Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Pass By: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, our representative will meet and greet you for the transfers to your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2: Delhi to Agra by Shatabadi Train

Pass By: Agra, Agra, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh
Early morning you will be transferred to New Delhi Railway Station to board the train (No. 2002 Bhopal Shatabadi) which departs at 06:00 hrs and arrives Agra Cantt station at 07:57 hrs. On board you will get Breakfast in Train. On arrival at Agra you will be received and later there will be visit to the Agra fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar, and the famous Taj Mahal-the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. You may also visit Dayal Bagh. By evening return to your hotel for overnight stay.

We set out on a road trip to Agra in the morning, followed by check in at the hotel. Spend the afternoon soaking in the beauty of the Taj Mahal followed by shopping in the evening. The Taj Mahal a classic example of Mughal art is the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal, wife of Emperor Shah Jahan. It took him 22 years and over 20,000 labourers and over 32 crores, to build the monument dedicating it to his beloved wife

Agra Fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra in India. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Before capture by the British, the last Indian rulers to have occupied it were the Marathas. In 1983, the Agra fort was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled city.

Day 3: Agra to Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur

Stop At: Jaipur, Jaipur, Jaipur District, Rajasthan
This morning after breakfast there will be excursion to Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Visit the Palace Complex, Buland Darwaja and the Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chisti. Afternoon drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in hotel.

The name of the city is derived from the village called Sikri which occupied the spot before. An Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) excavation from 1999-2000 indicated that there was a habitation, temples and commercial centres here before Akbar built his capital.

Day 4: Jaipur City Tour – Delhi by Shatabdi Train

Stop At: Jaipur, Jaipur, Jaipur District, Rajasthan
Morning after breakfast check out from the Hotel and later visit the Amber Fort, built in 16th century. Drive past the Hawa Mahal-a Palace of winds. In the afternoon you will visit the city palace and museum, walk to adjacent Jantar Mantar an astronomical observatory. Evening you will be transferred to Jaipur railway station to take a train to Delhi. (Train No. 12016 Ajmer Shatabdi) which departs from Jaipur at 17:50 hrs and arrives New Delhi at 22:40 hrs. On arrival you will be received from the station for transfer to hotel.

Stop At: Amber fort, Devisinghpura, Amer, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302001 Amer Jaipur, Jaipur 302021 India
You’ll start your day by visiting the Amber fort, a few miles outside the city. You’ll get to tour the fort in luxury. The rest of the day will consist of tours to the opulence the princely state still boasts, the elegant palaces and royal chambers, browse through priceless artifacts at the museum.

Stop At: Jantar Mantar – Jaipur, Tripoliya Bazaar near entrance to City Palace, Jaipur 302020 India
Jantar Mantar, the largest sundial in the world, is a World Heritage Site and definitely a must-not-miss on your trip to Jaipur. A guided tour (30 minutes to 1 hour) is recommended, and would cost Rs. 100.

Once the seat of Jaipur’s Maharaja and today a rich museum, the main citadel of Jaipur’s City Palace is a marriage of Mughal and Rajput architecture. The Palace complex is home to historical attractions like Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Diwan-I-Khas, Diwan-I-Aam and Maharani Palace.

Stop At: Jal Mahal, Amer Road, Jaipur 302002 India
Literally meaning as ‘Water Palace’, Jal Mahal is located amidst the Man Sagar Lake and was constructed by Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. The beauty of the palace lies in its location as the palace cum hotel is standing in the centre of the lake.

The palace architecture boasts of a typical Rajput and Mughal style which is quite similar to that of Amer Fort. Made in red sandstone, the palace is actually five-storeyed where only the top story is visible (rest are submerged under water).

Stop At: Hawa Mahal – Palace of Wind, Hawa Mahal Tripolia Bazaar Road Badi Choupad, J.D.A. Market, Pink City, Jaipur 302002 India
The Palace of the Winds, or Hawa Mahal, was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh for royal women to view the busy streets of Johari Bazaar, while staying veiled behind the jharokhas. Go atop the five-storey building to take in that view.

Day 5: City Tour of Delhi & transfer to Airport for your onward Journey

Stop At: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
Morning after breakfast check out from the Hotel and later there will be Delhi local sightseeing. First, you will visit old Delhi. The Raj Ghat, Red fort & Jama Masjid are important places to visit, you may also visit Chandni Chowk,spice market etc. Later on, proceed to visit the New Delhi. The Qutub Minar, the tallest stone tower in India, imposing India Gate and the Rastrapathi Bhawan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple. If time persists you can visit Akshardham temple. Later on, you will be transferred to Airport for your onward Journey to Home.

Constructed in 1639 by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the palace of his fortified capital Shahjahanabad, the Red Fort is named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone and is adjacent to the older Salimgarh Fort, built by Islam Shah Suri in 1546 AD. The imperial apartments consist of a row of pavilions, connected by a water channel known as the Stream of Paradise (Nahr-i-Bihisht). The fort complex is considered to represent the zenith of Mughal creativity under Shah Jahan.

Rajghat: Marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated following his assassination.

Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India
It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656 at a cost of one million rupees, and was inaugurated by Imam Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari from Bukhara, present-day Uzbekistan. The mosque was completed in 1656 AD with three great gates and two 40 metres high minarets constructed with strips of red sandstone and white marble. The courtyard can accommodate more than 25,000 people. There are three domes on the terrace which are surrounded by the two minarets. On the floor, a total of 899 black borders are marked for worshippers. The architectural plan of Badshahi Masjid, built by Shah Jahan’s son Aurangzeb at Lahore, Pakistan, is similar to the Jama Masjid.

In the heart of Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk is a busy shopping area with markets full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry and vivid saris, while the narrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery and traditional Indian sweets

Stop At: Qutub Minar, Qutb Minar, Mehrauli, New Delhi 110030 India
You will be assisted with check in at the hotel on arrival at Delhi, by our staff member, followed by sightseeing in the afternoon and an evening spent in leisure. The sightseeing tour will include a visit to India’s tallest stone tower-Qutub Minar, along with a tour of India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan- the Presidential House, Red Fort, and Jama Masjid. India Gate is a place built specially in commemoration of all the soldiers who tragically lost their lives in the Anglo-Afghan war and World War.
