What to Expect When Visiting New Delhi, Delhi, India

Day 1: New Delhi

Our representative is waiting to greet you as you emerge from the check out lounge. We head straight for the high end hotel booked for your stay. After freshening up we visit nearby places if time permits. Else time to relax enjoy the meal and sleep.

Day 2: DELHI OLD & NEW
Stop At: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi
The chaos and sounds are startling but nevertheless you settle down and start experiencing the surroundings as we drive down. We are heading for Qutub Minar followed by a visit to the Red Fort and then old rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk . In between lunch is scheduled at a good restaurant.
We will also visit the modern marvels Lakshminarayan Temple, Bahai Lotus Temple and pass through Lutyen’s Delhi to give you an idea of what the British created in India. The Old & New Delhi combine an experience of ancient artifacts and modern temples. New Delhi is cosmopolitan in nature and home to people of various hues and color. This is your first experience of India. We will move back to the hotel at dinner time and rest for the night in luxury.

Day 3: Agra

The Fort at Agra is literary a citadel with the complex comprising of a pearl mosque, and grand halls known as Diwan E Am for public and Diwan E Khas for private audience.
The next visit is for Taj Mahal a mausoleum built by a King enamored by his wife. The romantic edifice is captivating as you may have rightly surmised. The Taj is more striking than what you had imagined. The striking and colorful tapestry etched using calligraphy and semi precious stones all over are what captivate your eye. On the final note the grandeur of the edifice is something you may had never experienced before. Late night at hotel for a star studded sleep.

Day 4: Fatehpur Sikari
Stop At: Fatehpur Sikri, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra District, Uttar Pradesh
On the way to Jaipur we will halt at Fatehpur Sikiri made of red stone blocks the city or rather the citadel is must visit place of interest. The city contains an imperial palace and a kanqah building of sheikh Salim Chisti the sufi saint.
The excavations have revealed an old city with temples and dwellings where Fatehpur Sikri stands today. The visit will be a historic eye opener as well as to the origin of Islamic Architecture in India. There are many components worth a visit in this city built by Mughal King Akbar.
After the visit we will have lunch a try some of the delicious cuisine that Agra has to offer. We will reach Jaipur late evening and move into the high end hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 5: Jaipur
Stop At: Jaipur, Jaipur, Jaipur District, Rajasthan
The capital city was built by the Rajput Kings and was painted pink to commemorate the visit of King George the V. It is since called the pink city and is capital of Rajasthan. Incidentally Jaipur is gateway to other interesting destinations in Rajasthan.
The destination offer sight of some of the most iconic monuments of India. The visit begins with Amer Fort that stands proud atop a hill and overlooks the city. Steep cobbled pathways lead to the fort which is often known as a palace since it was the residence of the Rajput Royals as well. After an interesting round up of Amer Fort we will move to City Palace and Hawa Mahal the latter with unique see through architecture meant for the Royal Ladies. The City Palace stands out among all the palaces in India. It was the seat of Maharajahs of Jaipur and is a grand complex built out of red sandstone. The vast array of buildings, gardens and courtyards create an memorable grandeur the extol the architectural genius of the builders. We will also visit Jantar Mantar a collection of astronomical instruments built during the period of Maharajah Jai Singh II.
