Stop At: Kashmere Gate Monument, Opposite ISBT.Kashmiri gate, New Delhi 110006 India

Our First stop will be a British era Church with beginnings from early 18th century. ST Mary church is remarkably still intact along with its beautiful Portuguese terracotta roof structure. Rights of admission reserved only for the Christian people.
Our 2nd Spot is a late Mughal era cemetery housing the dead British soldiers who were killed during an battle between Mughals and the British, we cannot go inside the cemetery as it is closed due to local ghost stories and creepy tales, however a view of inside from its entry gateway is enough to experience its historical value.

Stop At: St. James’ Church, Lothian Rd, Kashmere Gate, Delhi, 110006, India

A British church built in mid 19th century, still looks Impressive in its tall structure and green ambience. This magnificent church was built by a British army general who lay wounded in a battlefield after a bloody battle with the Mighty “Mughals”. Having lost all hopes of surviving, he wished to built a grand church if lord almighty spares his life. Miraculously he was spared by the Mighty “Mughal” army considering him to be dead.

Stop At: Qudasia Park, near Kashmiri Gate, New Delhi India

A mughal era garden hiding in its green cover a mosque, royal small palace and few ruins. What a green paradise in in a chaotic old delhi. This historic Mughal era garden lost much of its buildings due to a devastating war between the natives and the British. Thousands of natives were slaughtered and all historic building were blown up mercilessly by the furious British army who wanted to rout the freedom struggle once and for all.
Finally we head back to the “Lal qila” metro station where you can board your tube train back to your hotel.
