The guided Agra Heritage Walk explores and helps visitors discover Agra’s other attractions outside the Taj Mahal. This tour focuses on other well-known locations within the city of Agra. The city’s history and legacy are made more widely known to the public with the Legacy Walks. The Heritage Walk is divided into two routes: the Great Mughal Side Walk and the Beyond Taj Walk. The Beyond Taj Walk commences at the Taj Mahal and continues to Sandli Masjid, Ban-walo ki Bagichi, Dargah Ahmed Bukhari, Haathi Khana, and Haveli Khan-I Dauran.

Morning, 06:00 AM – Pick up from Delhi:

Our driver shall reach your hotel or Indira Gandhi International Airport to pick you up. We let you choose your mode of journey to Agra, through the car or through a train. If you choose to travel through a train, we transfer you to Railway Station where you will board your train to Agra. Our driver will assist you in boarding the train. Else, you may choose to travel in a luxury car.

09:00 AM – Taj Mahal:
Our first destination in Agra is Taj Mahal, the Symbol of Love and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, this monument way stand ahead in the list of the best monuments in the world due to its supreme architecture.
The story goes something like this – Mumtaj Mahal, the wife of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan died while giving birth to her 14th child. In the death bed, she took two promises from Shahjahan. She was one of the most beautiful women in the world. And to keep his second promise the emperor decided to build something equally beautiful in her memory. Thus, he employed 20,000 people who worked for 22 years to build this wonderful monument.

Now it’s time to explore the real heritage of Agra and India. Since Agra is the place where most of the Mughal heritage lies, we take you to the streets where you can find the real heritage and culture of the Mughals.

Next destination is the Sadar Bazaar, a market of the Mughal and British era. This market is also popular for its mouth-watering fast food. Enjoy tasty Samosas, Pani Puri, Agra ka Petha and other delicious food here. You can do a brief walk here.

Next, You will go for an extensive Mughal heritage walk. visit a nearby village called Kachhpura Village to witness the lifestyle, culture and traditions of an Indian village. It is located at a short distance from Agra. Visit the village and enjoy the welcome of an Indian village, and understand their day-to-day life.

Later, while walking back from the Kachpura walk you will also walk into the Mehtab Bagh, a beautiful garden in Agra. It is located across the river Yamuna on the backside of the Taj mahal. This beautiful garden is a popular tourist attraction in Agra where you can walk around in leisure and can click some awesome pics of the Tajmahal.
