Day 2: Ride cycle rickshaw in the lanes of old Delhi, Explore city’s garden tomb

Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India
After breakfast you’ll be taken to Old Delhi, first, visit the beautiful Jama Masjid – One of the Jewels being built by Emperor Shah Jahan, this 17th-century colossal edifice represents the architectural extravaganza of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Its tall minaret towers and protruding domes, which can be seen for miles around, are distinctive features of the Jama Masjid.

It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site, constructed around 12th century as a Victory Tower by Qutb-ud-din Aibak who later became the Sultan of Delhi. It is the tallest brick minaret in the world, with a height of 72.5 metres. Qutub Minar is surrounded by several other ancient and medieval structures and ruins, collectively known as the Qutb complex.

Rashtrapati Bhavan, built as the British Viceroy’s residence, is now where the President of India resides. The building is the highlight of Lutyen’s New Delhi and was completed in 1929 with the palace having 340 rooms. Marvel at the grandiose of the place from the outside.

Parliament House is one of the most impressive buildings in Delhi. The Building was designed by British architect Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker. This iconic building was inaugurated in 1927 by Lord Irwin, the then Governor-General of India. It is the place where the Indian Constitution was drafted.

Day 3: Drive to Agra. Visit the wonderful Taj Mahal at Sunset.

Day 4: Drive to the Pink City of Jaipur, enroute stop at Fatehpur Sikri

On the way to Jaipur, you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri – now turned UNESCO world heritage site. The abandoned town was founded late to the 16th century which was made using of red sandstone. This place is considered one of the finest Mughal architectures to explore. Inside Fatehpur Sikri, there are other places like Jodha Bai’s palace, Jama Mosque, Buland Darwaza and also a Tomb of Salim. Continue to Jaipur (3 hours drive), on arrival check-in to your hotel.
