This night walk around Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi shows you the capital when it is most alive, in the evening. Chandni Chowk literally means the ‘Moonlit Square’ and it is believed that the name came from Mughal times when the water in the square reflected the moonlight. After dark the air is cooler and people get on with their daily activities, so do expect crowds and some attention from the locals as you venture into the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. Your guide will explain the history of the area and highlight the remaining facades and buildings that have survived this rapidly changing area.
