06:00 AM – Pickup and Drive to Agra from Delhi

11:00 AM – Visit Taj Mahal
Take a guided tour of the majestic Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to enshrine the remains of his beloved queen Mumtaj. Taj Mahal is the finest example of Persian and Indian architecture put together. What makes this wonder of the world famous is its perfect symmetry of all the Taj Mahal building and surrounding structures like gates and fountains. Red Fort also known as Red Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site is another testament to the glory of Mughal Empire. It reflects both the power and splendor of the Mughal dynasty, which dominated India for over four centuries. It was constructed in 1556 by great Mughal Emperor Akbar and it was used by Mughal Dynasty as their main residence until 1638. Architecture of this fort complex incorporates the Islamic and Hindu styles. Visit Jehangir palace, Khas Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas (Private Audience Hall) and Moti Masjid.
04:00 PM – Visit Tomb of Itmad-ud-daulah
This same day Taj Mahal tour ends with visit of the tomb of Itmad-ud-daulah known as Baby Taj for its resemblance of Taj Mahal. It is the first white marble monument of Agra built in 1622 by daughter of nobleman Mirza Ghiyas Beg as his mausoleum. Architecture of this beautiful white mausoleum on the bank of the river Yamuna exhibits a strong Persian influence.
