You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and driven to Hauz Khas village where you will meet your guide for the day.
Today its well-preserved ruins stand in the middle of a public park that overlooks a lake. It is a popular spot with the locals. A mosque, tombs and pavilions are present on the grounds of the Fort complex. Enjoy the views of the lake before you continue your walk to the village.
Walk through the narrow lanes lined with shops, boutiques and art galleries. Take some time to visit each of these and get an idea of the contemporary lifestyle of Delhi. Stop for drinks and refreshments at a popular bar (own expense). Browse through the antiques on display at the Bollywood shop. Your guide will share with you stories associated with the present day inhabitants of the village. In short, spend a relaxed morning exploring this quaint little urban village.
