Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Kumbhalgarh Fort, Kumbhalgarh 313325 India
You will be picked up from your hotel in Udaipur and driven to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kumbhalgarh Fort. It is situated at a distance of 60 miles from Udaipur.
The long wall encircling the fort is wide enough to take eight horses riding abreast. Seven huge gates guard the entrance to the fort. Even the mighty Mughals could not capture this fort alone. It took the combined armies of Delhi, Amber and Marwar to breach the defences of the fort.
Spend some time exploring the inner palaces, temples, courtyards, statues, and paintings. Visit the Palace of Clouds, Badal Mahal, situated at the highest point of the fort. The palace is the birthplace of the legendary Rajput warrior Maharana Pratap, and its bright rooms and terraces command a spectacular 360-degree view of the hills of Rajasthan.
After the tour of the fort drive back to Udaipur. On the way stop for lunch (beverage excluded) at a local restaurant. On reaching Udaipur you will be dropped back at your hotel.
