He lives with his beautiful children and wife in their ancestral home with magnificent views of the valley. The cooking class will be conducted by the resident chef, who has worked with them for the last 20 years and knows all the secret family recipes! He will reveal few closely guarded secrets behind the Mewar cuisine of Indian royalty.
The royal cuisine of Mewar is usually simple, rustic yet flavorsome and depends quintessentially on dry fruits, spices and fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats of the season. In your 1 hour hands-on cooking class, you will join the family chef to make Hare bater (farmed quails in a green curry) and dal chitrakoot (lentils from Chittor) and will learn to combine local produce with old traditional recipes before you sit down to enjoy the meal with your host and his family.
