Why choose this Varanasi tour ?

This tour takes you across the city, throwing further light on one the cycle of life and death. Look at the city like never before, giving a glimpse of Mahashamstana which means the great cremation ground where the final ritual post the death takes place. Visit sacred fertility ponds then traverse in semi-darkness to the Ashram of the Aghor, a path of tantric non-dualism, well known for their black-clothed renunciants who meditate in the cremation grounds. It attracts a lot of people every year who come for the last rights after the death of their loved ones. It is said that by doing so they break the cycle of rebirth giving Moksha (liberation from rebirth impelled by the law of Karma) to their loved ones. Varanasi is the religious capital of India but also is home of Aghoris. Take a tour with us to discuss how these two opposites get along in the vicinity of the same city.
Coming to the end of the tour, the final thing would be worship at the temple as per the ritual.

Visit the areas around Assi Ghat and explore the main market famous for its street stalls.
Assi ghat is described in the Kashi Khand as Assi “Saimbeda Tirtha” means the one who gets a dip here once in his life will get punya of all the Tirthas (religious places of the Hindu)

Assi ghat is the everyone’s preferred ghat located in the south of the Varanasi. It is the place where one can spend hours very easily without any disturbance. It is the amazing and most natural place where students from foreign country, researchers and travelers are used to live here.

Manikarnika Ghat is one of the oldest and most sacred ghats in Varanasi. It is the main cremation ghat in the area, with the bodies of devout Hindus being burned here before their ashes are carried away by the holy waters of the Ganges. Hindu mythology links this ghat with Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. It’s said that those cremated here will attain moksha (salvation). Bodies are brought to Manikarnika Ghat via a stretcher made from bamboo and covered in red cloth, before being consigned to flames amid prayers that their souls rest in peace for eternity. There is a sacred well at the ghat called the Manikarnika Kund, which is said to have been dug by Lord Vishnu at the time of creation. Lord Vishnu was said to have meditated for many years at the ghat, and it’s believed that his charana paduka (footprints) can be seen here in a circular marble slab. Manikarnika Ghat is also famous for the temple of the Lord Shiva and Mata Durga, which was built here in the mid-1800s.

Visit the Kali temple while walking through cremation ground who is the Hindu goddess of death and is often associated with violence but is also considered a strong mother figure and symbolic of motherly love.

We begin at sacred fertility ponds then traverse in semi-darkness to the
Ashram of the Aghor, a path of tantric non-dualism, well known for their black-clothed
renunciants who meditate in the cremation grounds. You will get a taste of death & rebirth
while discussing the differences between Vedic & Tantric philosophy as you wander through
