Stroll down the street of Varanasi by VLT

We”ll start our walk from Godowlia Crossing walking towards the northern part of Varanasi seeing flower market where you’ll watch several villages selling different types of flowers. After we’ll walk towards Kachori Gali area stopping at famous sweet shop Rajbandhu sweets where you can enjoy some typical Indian sweets. Later we’ll continue our walk towards Chowk area passing by Police station,.watching vendors selling Paan etc. We’ll then walk by Thatheri Bazaar area seeing the old narrow alleyways of Varanasi and then some famous ghats such as Panchganga , Bhosale Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat etc.

We will start our tour passing by this area.

We’ll walk following this street towards the chowk area

Just after 10 mins of walk from Godowlia, there is a small famous flower market here where we’ll spend sometime.

After the flower market we’ll walk towards Kachaudi Gali area where there is a famous sweets shop called Rajbandhu. We’ll try some Indian sweets here or take photos.

After stopping at Shree RajBandhu, we’ll walk towards Chowk area following the Kachaudi Gali street

After walking towards Kachaudi Gali and Chowk area,we’ll then enter in the street called Thatheri Bazaar.

There is an old palace in Thatheri Bazaar, we’ll stop by here and take pics

After walking in the narrow alleyways following Thatheri Bazaar, we’ll reach Alamgir Mosque for photos. This is an old mosque built by Aurangzeb, the last Mughal Emperor.

After spending few mins in Alamgir Mosque, we’ll walk towards Panchganga Ghat walking towards Scindhia Ghat

After Panchganga Ghat, we’ll stop at Scindhia Ghat to watch people bathing after finishing the funeral

We’ll come to Manikarnika Ghat after Scindhia Ghat where you can watch the cremation happening here.

After watching the cremation we’ll walk towards Dashashwamedh Ghat , tour finishes here. You can ask for drop off at the same place you started or watch the evening eceremony happens here at 6 PM
